Dual Sport Riding Techniques- The DVD!

Dualsporting takes us to some out of the way places. Getting there requires both a spirit of exploration, and also some skill riding the motorcycle. Most folks here can handle the former- it's been my pleasure to help a few people with the latter through my clinics. About a year ago, I realized that demand for the clinics was outpacing my ability to supply them, so I set about making a DVD to bridge the gap.

Similar to the clinics, the DVD focuses on isolating fundamental skills, practicing them one by one in a controlled drill, and then integrating everything together on the trail. To assist with the learning process, we have included a .pdf file on the DVD which you can print and refer to when you're out practicing. There's also a healthy component of inspiration in the form of great shots taken in beautiful places.

The DVD covers the same topics I do in my clinics, but in greater depth. Riders of all skill levels can benefit from watching it- newer riders can form good habits from the start, more experienced riders can take the opportunity to step back and evaluate their riding with a fresh perspective. We used bikes like the BMW GS (both R and F), the Kawasaki KLR, and numerous KTM's when filming. In any case, the movie is about riding, not equipment, and physics shows no preference between brands.

A portion of all proceeds will go to advrider.com, and access groups like the Blue Ribbon Coalition.

We're done with the DVD, and it is out for duplication. The first orders will ship around the end of July, sooner if the DVD's arrive on schedule. The cost is $29.95, and it is only available through our website, dualsportriding.com. In the shopping cart, change the quantity to what you want, hit the little circular thingy on the bottom, and it'll take you to the number you ask for.

Once it's in your cart, you can select paypal at checkout instead of credit card as a payment option.

Priority mail: it's a real PITA to get the shipping configured for different zones and countries. It's too high, I agree- it is a byproduct of trying to get foreign and other stuff to work out so that I don't spend money to ship them. The normal shipping will get it to you pretty quick anyway.

Sorry about the beer and lost porno files! That's a real bummer...

I did that the first few times and it never changed.
H o w e v e r, after another beer, it did work OK. Seriously though, it wouldn't allow me to change it before.

The first CC screen didn't accept Amex (or least mine) so I tried Paypal, but didn't know that the login email was used automatically by your site as the paypal login, which was different in my case. T h e n, it went to a different screen and did accept my Amex. I've never experienced this before, but am looking forward to receiving the helpful DVD.

I understand about the difficulty of trying/needing to fix one charge for each method of shipping.

I hope you guys have already contacted mail order sites such as 'Stitch and Whitehorse Press about carrying the DVD. Done right, you are filling a real void.

1 x DVD purchased! I'll let all y'all know how long it takes it to get to Canada! I thought the camera work and editing looked really good in the promo, and the descriptions of the instructional technique, etc, as well as feed back from Ned's real clinics, gives me a warm fuzzy about the value of this DVD.
