What's the big deal about this bike?

Is it just because its a Yamaha F650GS Dakar?

I have already signed a few petitions for this bike. I am going to the motorcycle show in Long Beach. I am having a shirt made. Its going to say "YAMAHA CORP. Why won't you bring the Tenere 660 to the US? or YAMAHA CORP. Please bring the Tenere 660 to the US! Which one should i have printed? Or my be you guys can give me some suggestions? Thanks, Ben

Use them both. Print the "Why won't you..." on the front so they see it as you approach to question them about it and "Please bring it..." on the back, so they see it as you walk away.

On the Front: Please bring the Tenere 660 to the US!

On the Back: Yes! I'm willing to pay $9,000+ US for it.

All I can say is.....YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

I like all the shirt ideas!! I'm partial to, Front "YAMAHA, why don't you.... Back; "Bring the XT660Z Tenere to the USA!!!" Then in small print; "Signed, coalition for more Thumpers for the USA!" OR, "Coalition for more worthy Adventure bikes in the USA!!" OR, "Coalition for people who'll pay $9,000 for a legend!!"

If your going to the Long Beach bike show....Hopefully you'll encounter the good dude I spoke to in San Mateo who claims he preaches up and down to Yamaha US to import the XT660Z!! Maybe you'll find a higher up who can give you some really good answers! I think with the S-10 and all the media printing going on with that bike it could be great tractions for our XT660Z hopes.......I'm still crossing my fingers!

Anyway, keep up the EXCELLENT work people!!
