Im very seriously considering getting an 1979 xl75 that is in good condition. Everything works with 2.5k miles on it. I am trying very hard to find the top speed of this machine? I already have a big bike but i wanted something tiny for my brother to learn on with and just because i like enduros. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Andy
I learned to ride on my best friend's '78 XR75. It was a tough little bike. Top speed was maybe 45-50 if I had to guess. It didn't have a speedometer, of course. I was 13, and that bike felt like a 500 to me. I've been an XR guy ever since.
