Rallyists have used roadbook holders for years. More and more touring riders also want to benefit from "notes that appear by simply turning a knob". But rally roadbook holder are often too big. Many motorcycles do not offer enough space or the rider cannot see the instruments anymore.

    Roadbookholder RB-TT - Euro 257,00
When designing our roadbook holder, we have used our experience gained over many years. It works with a unique "DOUBLE MOTION drive" which means that two motors control paper transport. Thus the paper is always tightened and does not unwind even at high vibrations. In addition, we deliberately decided not to use rubber driving belts prone to ageing and cracks. We have chosen a direct drive instead. The RB-TT standard package includes a lighting kit and a handlebar control. The roadbook holder is easy to mount and the electrical connections are made quickly. Just connect two cables to the power supply. Then plug in the handlebar control. The handlebar holders including rubber mounts are pre-assembled. The following accessory parts are available: two different mounting plates for mounting an IMO-100 computer with or without control lamp unit.
    Aluminium housing
    Reinforced edges for high stability
    Waterproof
    For A5 roadbooks
    Lighting included
    Housing dimensions: (L x W x H) 197 x 124 x 70mm
    Electrical drive incl. paper brake
    Manual operation possible
    Includes handlebar control
Opens and closes with no tools
Extra large paper roll: up to 80 A5 sheets (approx. 17m)
    Weight: 1000g incl. Mount

Cockpit installation depends on your bike, but they have stuff that replaces your whole instrument panel

    Ex:
    Cockpit F650 GS/DAKAR V100
    Version 100 for IMO-100R
    or 100R300 or 100R Sport
    Euro 101,00
For the use with IMO-100R, IMO-100R100 oder IMO-100R300.

Is Tourtech the only company that makes these? Its not that I don't like Tourtech products. I just want to look at all options before purchase.

I bought mine from my local MX parts dealer. It's made by MOOSE Products, looks like the small one from TT, and cost about $30. Sorry, I couldn't find a picture of it to post.

here is apicture of the moose rollchart holder. It has a removable plastic window which we weren't using for this rally. That's my wife, Amy, doing a superb job of navigating by GPS and rollchart, during the BlackDog.

Ashamed to bump this page up again but I want to ask this any way.
Is there a real reason why you want to have an electrical powered holder? To me, it seems like just something that can break. I can imagine people saying that this is saver because you can keep both hands on your bar but I don't buy that. If you're scrolling down, you'll be looking at your holder anyway instead of to the road, right?
    Anything I'm missing regarding this?
