Or if it does I'm not paying for it :D

About the only car on the market that fits me :huh you'd think it wouldn't be so hard.

And no it's not a TDI! I drive well under 10k per year usually (this year being the exception) so it didn't really make much sense. I have to say the I-5 is a pretty decent cage motor. It sounds nice and feels more like a diesel with a bunch of low down power and not much top end. Also the chassis/steering are great and night and day from my 97 Accord.

This is also a base model....5 speed, power everything, bluetooth, cruise, a/c, honestly the only options I would want on a car that this doesn't have are heated seats, a sunroof, and ipod integration. Though with the bluetooth audio that one isn't as important and I have seen few cars that pull it off well. The Kia Soul's system I know just didn't like my iPod touch at all.

A bit more about it; this car is quiet/smooth as hell. I pulled onto the highway and had to slow down big time when I realized how fast it was going :eek1.

The sound system is pretty amazing too, I have a friend who is obsessed with dub step and music like so the kid loves huge bass and he was asking where the sub was. I can't bring it past 50% volume because it starts to hurt my ears :eek1 again this is the base stereo for the car. VW really didn't fuck around, shit they've earned my respect.

I became an old man early in life :lol3 back when I was 21 I traded a CBR1100XX for a V-Strom and it has been all down hill from there. Now I wear tweed jackets while drinking my gin and tonics.

Honestly the reason I like it so much is the thing fits me....with my wrist and ankle issues that is no small feat. The only other cars that work are the Accord and Saab 9-5. The former for a certified used one with low miles wouldn't be much cheaper than the VW, and a Saab is just a nightmare waiting to happen. I've been living with cars on deaths door for 4 years now so this is amazing :clap

That way cops will pay less attention :deal having a Silver Civic and a Green Accord has probably helped me avoid a few tickets in my day.

I'm not much into big wheels and suspension drops, but it doesn't take much to make this car look very slick.

Base car with H&R springs and 20's.

as long as yer happy with it, that's all that matters.

Some of these responses are a real buzzkill. You didn't buy the car for them, and they don't have to drive it every day. Likewise, though I would always rather see purchasing dollars spent with the domestics for reasons of economic health, it wasn't my money you spent and it isn't for me to judge.

Congrats on the new car, hope it is good to you!

Really? The new passat and Jetta are made in South Carolina. Doesn't get much more american than that. Ford Fusions are made in Mexico, Chrysler 300s in Canada as are the chevy impalas.
