Since I'm in a meeting right now, I can't verify. But what URL style are you looking for to show your greasemonkey checkbox? It doesn't work when I'm past the first page.

(I changed my posts-per-page from 20 to 100 because of you. thanks!)

The checkbox will not appear on pages 2 through n until you've gone to page 1 and checked the box at least once. This is how the script knows who wrote the first post in a given thread.

If you've checked the box on page 1 of a thread and it's not showing up on subsequent pages, PM me the full URL (inc. query string).

I've run into some snags with getting this script to work in Safari. At this point, the best option requires a shareware app that costs $10. I'm not really interested in paying for something I'll never use -- I use Firefox on my iBook.

Going the shareware app route would also mean that everyone else will need to pay the $10 in order to use the script on their computers. While the script is nifty, I seriously doubt that anyone will pay $10 for it. So, Safari is most likely out until someone writes a decent Greasemonkey clone for it.

In the meantime, I've been playing around with this:

Can you make it save the preference for that given thread? I mean, it only 'sticks' when I view the thread, not when I come back to catch up on the thread, right?
