Actually, you are the noob when compared to me. It's a free country you can read what you like. I'm happy that you can. This is Jo Momma so stop crying.:cry :cry :cry :cry :cry

Check your syntax, as you told me to argue with everyone on this forum.

"You'll get run in no time.":huh Please little one, give me a break, are you going to tell your mother on me. Don't threaten, and don't assume that I am new. Maybe, I just returned.:1drink

Is the 65 mile commuting to work in your car?

BTW, we make time for what is important to us. :D

WTF are you trying to impress in this thread w/your posts? :dunno

We all ride.

No, it was on my Motobecane with Ultegra 6600 that I picked up dirt cheap online.

Impress? I just ride.....and work. Sometimes I ride "to" work. But, at least I ride.

Btw, sometimes I have to commute 120+ miles to another trauma hospital so it tends to eat up my fun time.

I do have Trek 460 that I bought while in high school and it is well over 20 years old. Too many miles to count on that bike.

Get a grip, hold on tight, and pedal on.:lol3

Cool. I've never met him but I've always been impressed with his riding.

I really enjoy your photos. What camera set up are you using?

A Bike Friday? I've been drooling at those on the net. Really like the model that can be a single or a tandem. Can't remember the name and too lazy to look.

I have been riding for about 12 years. The first 8 years I only rode mountain bikes. With the price of gas and the amount of time it takes to get to the trails around here I live it seems that I only ever want to ride my road bike now.

I have about 6 thousand miles on my road bike and it is starting to become a pile. Hey I never adjust it, I do lube it once in a while, and I think I washed it last year or the year before.

My question is what bicycle magazine would people recommend me subscribing to? I want to read for a few months and catch up on the latest and greatest before buying a new bike. That way I will be able to make a half assed informed decision instead of just buying some piece of crap that the dealer couldn't get rid of until I came along.

Cycling magazine ... but go to the bulletin boards and troll over there

You can get a free subscription to Bicycling magazine if you join Performancebike.com discount club. They have fairly good prices and carry their own line of bikes. They also have several brick and morter shops.

Make sure to keep updated on the newer componentry. Some shops try to sell old models with components like Shimano that have the same name as newer models ie. Ultegra or 105....but, there have been recent changes in the newer replacements.(better)

There are a lot of Mountain bike rags, but only a few are road specific. Watcha like?
