PS, I just realized Swobo is back making cycling gear. Searching around for fixed gear info and swobo popped up. My favorite jersey is a swobo...and they make the best socks ever...

Man, I wouldn't ride my dirt bike in those conditions. The drivetrain, brakes and bearings must be toast after conditions like that.

bearings are sealed. chain and sprockets? aw, they can take quite a bit of that before they die, especially at the load levels a bicycle drive chain sees. you hose all the mud and grit off, wash the chain down with wd40 to get the rest of the grime off it, wipe it dry, then lightly oil it with some good chain lube, and move on.

:nod just do it IMMEDIATELY after this kind of stuff.

Old rule of thumb I use(d): if you submerge the hubs and/or BB strip em and relube em! :nod Keeps you :ricky longer! :nod

Sunday morning bump.

Went riding with a buddy upstate yesterday, 30 miles through a cold brisk air (42 degrees mountain temp).

Good news is we can get 2 roadies in the back of a Mini Cooper S.....:D

Bad news is you have to remove all wheels and seat posts...:deal
