3 weeks ago this a pink bike. She stripped it down, repainted it, and did the flames (their decals).. She also rebuilt the drivetrain, and the wheels. :clap :clap

She rocks.

Nats wa a blast.....but the weather was almost too nice and the fair-weather boys did just fine. It was nice to see Trebon finally win one, he deserved the win and led tape to tape. Jonathon Page was there and rode a great race, he was on his all new all-carbon monocoque Cerevelos. They were quite pretty and very blingy.

Gotta make a new years rez to get out at least 3 times a week this year.

Gonna hold off on a new bike for at least 6 months since I can't afford what I really want now. Basso is my friend:1drink

I am still riding at work. I am on tonight & tommorrow (12 hour shifts) which means only 2 days this week. I am off this weekend and will hit it again next Monday & Tuesday if the weather holds out.

I managed a quick ride with my f-in-law on Xmas morning. The weather was perfect, about 65F with no wind.

X-Mas was good bruda. Did you get your whip cleaned?

Sorta. I got a trainer a couple weeks ago. I've done a few hours on it, but haven't managed to get as systematic as I'd like. My girlfriend and I are reshuffling a couple of rooms to make a space where her elliptical and my bike can sit side by side facing a TV so we can try to motivate each other to use them a few times a week.

Of course I'd rather ride outside, and certainly with the freakishly warm winter we're having, it ought to be possible. But there just isn't enough daylight to get a good ride in before or after work, and I don't really enjoy riding in the dark.

yeah, right after the heartattack, you'll never need to worry about it again!!

No Sheeet, just kiddin! The funny thing is as I get older I sleep much less.

On a lighter note a long time friend that I have not spoken with in some time just rang. He mentioned how he no longer had the time to crush the miles with his "Roadie" and inquired if I would put it to good use. My ears perked up as I know his stuff is always sweet. He then went on to tell me that it was a Cannondale R600 that he modified with better components! :clap So, I am going to drag my lucky ass over too his house on Friday and hopefully work out the details. Wish me luck, please! :wings:wings:wings
