Guess it's my turn...

Figured I'd chime in with my stable.

Me:
Bianchi Campione
Rocky Mountain Thin Air
Kona Smoke
Trek 412/414 fixie conversion
Bringheli steel/lugged (built while as an apprentice to framebuilder Joe Bringheli)

Ours:
Burley Tosa road tandem

Hers:
Bianchi Eros
Specialized Rockhopper

Yeah...we love bikes. :D

A quick ride out along the Columbie into some serious headwind. Birds flapped their wings madly trying to make progress. Our heads down, we slogged. The reward was the ride back. Nearly 30 mph on saggy old man winter legs never felt so easy - or even possible. :lol3

No snow yet but some freaking sub zero windchills lately. Still can't complain, mild winter.

Very nice. Seen that already.

Wanna see how you fit on it.

I'm gonna bet that you'll want regular bars if/when you ride that thing more...

I'll try and figure out how to take one, I have the seat lowered now since that pic, the bars take some getting used to, but they're actually quite high.

Again, I don't really want to ride centuries with it (unless they're really flat....:D) but for hard training rides, under 30 miles, maybe more when I get better at it.

Have the GF take one as you ride by. That'd be a start anyway.

OR on those rollers you bought. You DID buy em didn't you?! :ear

I can understand that.

I'm doing the same thing. 'Course, its been ~4 weeks since I've worked too!

I'm also bout to trade the RT in on an 07 GS! Less $$ out the door/month compared to the RT... :deal Fixin to sell off farkles: CB screen, City Lids, RT tankbag, T-meister (maybe), etc. to raise $$ for the new bike.

I hear ya, I'm working my tail off, but the school loans just hit real hard (don't ask...), luckily they hit after the holidays and the new bike.

Tacos!

Hey Gummee
World's was awesome. 40,000 Belgians and 1/2 were pissed the other 1/2 were merely drunk. They really know how to party! I'm making a smugmug slide show right now and I'll post a link when I'm done. The racing was so fast it was frightening. When Page rolled into the lead it was electrifying.

Here's a pic of the motorcycle goat who knocked a barrier into Bart Wellens while he was leading the race and then Sven Nijs -- the overall favorite of the race -- crashed into Wellens. Wellens finished fourth with a broken wrist! Nijs fell back to eleventh.
