Hey John, no polis were seen on the run home but I saw 3 on my way down. I'm sure it would have been fine as the bike had 4 ratchet straps to seat & door frame points to secure it. That whole rescue mission was surprisingly painless including finding the loose connection. That poor, poor car just gets nothing but abuse! The beers and the 4 hours sleep with a fresh cold made yesterday particularly enjoyable:lol3

The Cervelo is actually Canadian, I named her Molly, because the only Canadian girl I've ever known was named Molly. :) I love my bicycles...thats for sure. I miss being able to ride as much as anything else when deployed. |

I own page 736! Check those apes!
Don't need any fancy bike to get around on here in Flori-duh. All you need is a simple beach cruiser. I ride the 8 miles to work in about 22 min. Only 16 miles round trip so I do 70% of the time. During the winter it is dark in the morning so I outfited it with lights and plenty of reflective tape. I decked my big Caloi out with some mini apes and highway gear. Tuff to start out but halling balls once you get going.

The wind kicked my ass today both mentally and physically.
Any tips, other than get more aero and peddle faster and harder? |
