Wheelchair-accessible motorcycle/sidecar
Not my pictures...taken in Washington state. Rig was built by Dauntless Motors. The Guzzi sickle is most likely a Convert (automatic.) It even has a reverse gear!

(Mods, feel free to move this thread as needed. Thanks!)

Many years ago there was a guy working at Coleman Powersports in Falls Church VA who had a rig like that hooked to a KZ1300 six. When ya gotta ride, ya ride.

I saw a guy in Austin Texas, that has a similar rig, but his car and chair are on the right side of the bike. Don't remember what kind of bike it was hooked to, but the bike's windshield was painted black and that is what caught my eye.

Kew l... When I took my motorcycle endorsement test (OH in 1979), a guy also took his on a Harley trike conversion. Ape hangers were pulled back and the sucicide shift was modified and pulled back also. The platform was set above the axel so it was pretty high but you couldn't tell, the way he took the off balance figure 8 turns. :evil

Saw this riding/driving down the street in Tucson yesterday. Followed him until he pulled over at an auto parts store. It's a Boss Hoss with a 350 CI motor. Pretty awesome engineering.

When I was in college I used to see a guy every so often that had a wheelchair-compatible sidecar rig. What was a hoot was that he would ride around town with his large dog on the bike seat, wearing googles and a helmet, and it looked for all the world like the dog was operating the rig. :eek1 :lol3

If your manliness will allow it, here is a link to some wheelchair scooters. I gave up trying to work the clutch and went to a Honda Helix with a sidecar. I'm a happy camper now
