:clap How many are out there with the BEST SPORT-TOURING BIKE MADE!
Let's see your pictures. Here is my 1997 ST1100 ABS/TCS. :D http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...e/IMG_0525.jpg |
I owned this 10 years
http://ssls6.smugmug.com/photos/26118714-L.jpg then this for 10 months. http://ssls6.smugmug.com/photos/26118708-L.jpg I never liked the ST1300, it took me 20k miles to figure it out. |
Here's my Rally Ready ST on the most ADV-type ride I've taken it on - 7 miles up a gravel road to get this pic for a Photo Tour last summer. For me, this is the best bike I've ever owned for the type of riding that I wanted it for, (which does NOT include gravel roads :lol3).

My ride for over 6 years and almost 150,000 miles.
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d5...4rKvgGc_fs.jpg It took me everywhere and had all the comforts for many hours in the saddle. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d5...1bjyWvp_fs.jpg I've since moved on to an 04' GSA thats trying hard to be the replacment for the ST. So far its doing a great job.:D |
Here's my '91. I've had her since last Sept. I've only put about 4500 miles on her but she serves my purposes. The '72 R60/5 is begging for attention though.

My bike was a 91' STD. and it has been gone for two years now but in the 6 years I owned it I put just under 150,000 miles on the clock. As for toy's or Farkles: Helibars, Rackman two piece rack, Laminar LIP windshield combo w/EARS,Dual Star Heated Grips, Marsee tank bag, digital thermo, wind deflector kit, EBC Prolite full floating rotors, 40 amp upgrade, 93 motor, Works Shock, Progressive springs with 10 wt. oil, Piaas 910's with Ron Major mounts, Stealth seat, GPS, XM radio, Rackman HWY.WINGS, 02' rear caliper, Carbon fiber bellypan, stripped rims, Littlite map light, Electrical connection L/H cover with drink holder, Tankbag hydration system, Black teflon ignition cover with blue teflon upper S.T.E.F.I. plate, Datel amp meter, carbon fiber tankbag deflector, RKA bag linners, Floppenzestoppens, Rackman Bag Buttons, Farkle Works electronis shelf, and it just goes on and on. A lot of little things that I made or remade myself just to give it that personalized touch. At WeSTOC in Moscow Idaho my ST took "Best Farkled" and the following year in Minden Nevada it won "Most Unique Farkle". I make most of my own Farkles and spent many hours getting them just right. For pictures of everything there is an album "FARKLES" in my Webshots. For a look just click on the link in my Signature below. I miss the bike and still see if from time to time as a friend of the guy across the street bought it. I do change the oil for him when it needs it and perform other things for him as I know that bike inside and out, I put it together and it gives me a chance to visit with an old friend.:D |

Y'all are embarrassing me. Every bike posted to this thread looks like someone could eat off it, and I post up mine so mud-and-bug-spattered nasty you can't hardly even tell what it is. http://bbs.tsba.org/images/smilies/shog.gif
