Hello again,
following the suggestion to start threads indexed on public interest issues here are the pictures from the screen I use on mine.
It is a KTM SuperDuke Power Part!

when mounting I recoommend to check back side of lamp mask for location of holes to be drilled.
I did not and (Murphys law!) hit exactly the little "rain gutter" .....works anyway.

now that you've had your E for quite some time stefan, have you found any probs with your tank like some of the US riders have. i havent seen many european complaints on the tank thread, maybe just maybe it might only be a certain batch for the US that gives probs. screen must be a + will fit one to mine someday

Here is a link to my reply to MrMike which appears in the 690 Threadfest. After some adjustment this works really well for times when you have to slab long distances and dismounts without tools by loosening two thumb screws.

Everything in Texas is bigger. Now, after a run on the concrete I have to clean the windscreen. Before all I had to do is brush my teeth.

Thanks for the nice post, I am installing the same windscreen on my 690E.

I used the 690SM windscreen. Mounting holes in slightly different places.

A word of caution; don't rely on the included template for where to drill the holes. It is way off. Haven't had a chance to see how it does at speed yet.

Here is a LL on my wifes SMC. It is the shield for a 950SM. Works good for her. I would need to have more vertical angle to protect my taller stance.
