OK, I just saw this second post in the Canadian section, kind of ignored the first but being a curious sumnabitch I now have to check it out ... but I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm in Quebec a lot so maybe I can rescue this 'egg' whatever it is for you.

Guess it's off to post #1 and see what's shakin'

Anybody got a quick rundown for me :ear

Mont Megantic ... sheesh, that's few hours and then some from me. Hmmm, I'm off to James Bay and then the end of the Trans Taiga on Labor Day weekend so if you think Mont Megantic is a hard palce to get the egg, just wait :evil :D

This was taken across the road from the entrance to the eponymous park surrounding the highest point in the only officially bilingual province.

When you stand here, turn around 180 degrees and you'll see a large brown sign. The egg is hanging on the back of it.

The last few miles of the most likely route to get there is dirt/gravel, but easily do-able on a street bike, although it will be a little "greasy" if it's wet.

well I am done for now, i spent an hour trying to find a hotel in Quebec City, I thought I was staying at the Hilton tonight but ended up at Motel Jardin.
