Oh well, saves me having to rush to find a newtag while the sun is up.

Blinkerfluid 03-04-2009 01:48 PM

No rush in this game, we're looking for quality tags not quantity tags.. Plus moving the tag a good distance is always a plus

XC Rider 03-04-2009 01:55 PM

Sorry Skyclad....

New tag pics up momentarily.

XC Rider 03-04-2009 01:59 PM

Close up pic of the mill, damn, and river.

http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/IMG_3144.jpg

Alright, clues:
1. Old mill/damn in the town of ___ . Mill has not be operational since atleast 1982; that's when I moved to the area.
2. Town in which located shares the same name as the river seen in the picture.
3. Road seen in the picture, which goes over the river, is a 3 digit route, whose sum of those 3 digits = 12.

Good luck!

Good spot and quick turnaround:thumb

The ride across 211 is pretty much worth the trip in itself.... great twistys. From New Market to Sperryville I was in pure bliss.... I'm going to make time to go back down sometime real soon on one of the Duc's and spend the day just tooling around on the Skyline drive and that road.

Wingfixer 03-05-2009 07:24 PM

If this is where I think it is its about a 4 hour hike for me. I'd do it if I knew for sure my guess is right. Any chance for a few more clues? Unless some other FF knows it then just ignore me.

XC Rider 03-06-2009 09:07 AM

From Berkely Springs, WV, mapquest says its about a 2hr 17 minute drive, or 125.78 miles.:D

Hopes this helps.

PS. If there's still no one that can get it, then I'll put up another clue which just makes it toooo easy to find.

Wingfixer 03-06-2009 09:10 AM

AAAHHH, nope, nope it doesn't. I know that my guess was wrong......

XC Rider 03-06-2009 10:04 AM

Additional clue....

Alright, here's an addendum to the clues that doesn't give it entirely away.

The route # is the displacement in ccm of the bike in the tag shot, minus 36.

Wingfixer 03-06-2009 11:54 AM

I guess I am a dumbass but all the 614's I can find are in deep South Virginia, I am assuming this tag is in Va. Reckon I will have to wait for someone smarter, or more google smart, to figger it out.

Good luck!

Clue 3, 3 digits = 12. So it couldn't be route # 614...But I still have no idea...Closest I got was route #732 near Harrisonburg, but satellite image show no mill or river in the area....Will keep checking...:cob
