The Kop is one of football's great heritages. It's one of the things that makes English football different and better. The passion the fans bring to the game makes it so much more enjoyable. I sometimes fall asleep watching La Liga and Serie A.

The songs are almost as much fun as getting blind drunk at the match :lol3

I was over there in 78-79, and you are right, the songs were fun to listen to. The pub songs were great as well. Not a lot of bars here that break into song on a regular basis.
