Said that to my wife yesterday and got a funny look. She's not big on movies.

That's because that quote isn't from a movie. It was a Monty Python sketch.

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more.

Why you should wear a full face helmet...(and not try to get your knee down on a scooter)

He walked away from this, but spent the rest of his life looking like a bulldog...

So is there any clue as to what happened before pic #1 to get him so crossed up?
Could he have been wanting to pull off to the outside of the curve and the on coming rider befuddled him? He does have his hand on the rear brake in pic 1. Perhaps slid the rear a little and then high sided at a slowed up speed?

OUCH! That's gonna leave a mark.....Is the rider coming the other way wearing one of those scary helmet covers?? Maybe the scooter rider was startled when he thought death was riding towards him....that's irony :evil

No idea. I took these from an article about Killboy. All they said was that everyone featured walked away. They didn't mention if they walked away looking like they had been chasing parked cars...

My guess was he was pulling off to the left, and the oncoming rider popped into view and startled him, and he lost it.

Pretty sure that accident was discussed in this thread many moons ago. Seems as if the scooter guy was making a left turn into the pull-out where the photog was and turned left in front of the oncoming motard guy. Being that it was a blind corner, scooter guy was surprised by motard guy and grabbed a fist full of front brake with the front wheel turned and face planted.

Reactions seem very slow, to shove your face into the road without turning your head, or putting an arm out, twisting your body, etc.
No, just crash and face plant....

I have crashed many times in the dirt and only once after doing the superman thing did I get a face full of sand.
