Haven't heard of Moose Drool but I'm intrigued based on the name alone. Will have to look for it at my local liquor store.

You are near the wrong Washington to find Moose Drool.
Sucks too, because its damn good beer.

Nope, because we're not discussing Budweiser or it's ilk. :D

We must share the same Beer DNA, if only Bud, Coors, and the other fizzy yellow "Americanized" beer is available, it is water and soda for me.

Quality over quantity.

A couple weeks ago the beer store guy was showing me a bottle (champagne bottle style) of good beer, price was about $12 for the bottle (ABV was near 20%), the guy behind me was carrying a 40 oz "light" beer, and said HOLY CRAP, $12 for one bottle!. When I saw what he was carrying I said, but if you poured that quality beer, in a bucket of water, would make more and taste the same as his selection. The counter guy got a big laugh out of that :D

Yuengling is like horse piss in a bottle. If it is between that and nothing, I'll go with nothing.:1drink

The fail is he's eying the MILF in the SUV, & she realizes what a loser he is. She's gonna give him a three o'clock check just make her point.

And, from all the above, it's no wonder that he'll never get laid anytime soon...

(btw... Yuengling is a great beer.. PA finest)

I would say good beer, but certrainly NOT PA's finest. Troegs, Lancaster Brewing, Appelachian Brewing, Victory...the list goes on. I would not even put Yuengling in the top 10. However, for widely available beer, I think it does a fine job of representing PA.

Whatever... it is still cornbeer.

This thread truly has it all now that we have pretentious beer snobs posting alongside pretentious bike snobs. I prefer good beer to bad beer. Who doesn't?

But drink water because you are too cool to drink cheap beer? Seriously? I don't normally buy the crap, but if it is cold, available and I'm thirsty then a sleazy Bud or Coors works just fine for me. :1drink

Hell, I even like Yuengling Black and Tan when I am in the mood to spend $6 on a six pack rather than $10. Open my fridge and you will usually see that and some really sleazy Tecate alongside the micro brews.
