How far is it from the dragon to the local hospital?

NWAF 05-12-2011 07:33 PM

Did he make it?

Swain County Hospital in Bryson City is the closest - over 40 miles from the Deals Gap store at the Rt129/Rt28 junction.

Depends, if he gassed it real hard at that point and dropped his left knee down, he might have managed to head back the other way. Kinda doubt it though. Pretty sure that one ended in a high side.

By Lifestar or by road?

Most of the crashes which require service are taken to Blount Memorial or University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Blount Memorial is about 40 miles away, UT is roughly 55 miles away. By ambulance.

I bet that's one miserable ambulance ride.

Based on that picture, it's not a matter of supermoto vs. sportbike. The body position of the rider on the sportbike is ALL wrong; note how far off the tard guys are hanging, and how much less lean angle the bikes have, relative to the sportbike.

It's hard to say without knowing how they got there, but it looks like the guy on the sportbike would have been fine if he had been hanging off much more.

I'll just cover the highlights :lol3
"Crawlin from the wreckage" by Graham Parker.

Crawlin' from the wreckage, Crawlin' from the wreckage
You'd think by now at least that half my brain would get the message
Crawlin' from the wreckage, Crawlin' from the wreckage
Into a brand new car

Crawlin' from the wreckage, Crawlin' from the wreckage
Bits of me are scattered in the trees and in the hedges
Crawlin' from the wreckage, Crawlin' from the wreckage
Into a brand new car

I bet that's one HELL of an expensive ambulance ride!

Wouldn't mind owning the ambulance service there, though. :evil

IIRC by the point of that first pic, the front had already started to go and the body position was just reaction

That would have gotten my vote as well. But he made it:
