The right part of the lane is nearly a gravel road from the semis cutting corners.

Yes, all over WV, VA, NC, GA and I am a back road rider, the cleanest part of a gravel strewn corner is generally near the fog line. The center of the lane the worst. There are always exceptions to that rule, but next time you ride, check it out, unless it was the car just in front of you slinging the stones, others traveling will move the gravel to the center of the lane and center of the road.

You are BOTH right !

If you are on the road soon after someone kicked the gravel out onto the road, it will be near the white line.

If you are on the road long after someone kicked the gravel out onto the road, it will slowly be pushed toward the center.

On a few of trips in the early 2000's, we caught a group of yocals (not kids either), pouring bleach and diesel fuel in the corners in hopes of wiping out some tourists. We followed them and called the police and they handled it from there both times. The first time the offenders were ticketed, the second time we caught some, the police spoke to them and let them go with no tickets issued. Not sure if they followed up later or not, but they went to inspect the dumping site and agreed "something had been spilled". We caught them red handed sitting on the bed of their pick up pouring this crap in more than one corner. WTF are people thinking??

don't underestimate the level of stupidity in some people. Out in that region I once caught a full bottle of pepto bismol on my helmet, thrown from an oncoming truck... I really had no idea what happened, until I came to the camp site, covered in pink goo...

Sounds like the end scene in EZ riderz where they get shot by local yocals.

That is the truth, it is a shame all the great roads in this state are nearly ruined with gravel all over every curve from the idiots that can not keep it on the road. It is a rare event to go somewhere in this state and not see someone run off the road every 10 feet.

Hay jerky, how about a spoiler alert? Seriously, now I know how it ends, why even watch it? :cry

I have watched it several times - the music alone is a great reason to see it again and again...

I think there's an expiry date on spoiler alerts; ie: 20 years+

Also on that note: King Kong falls off and dies, JFK and Jesus both get killed, and Regan gets better but the priest dies.
