Wow, that's amazing!
Why is there a pulley installed on the hack wheel?

Look at the pics again....it`s apparently using a stock rear wheel assembly on the sidecar.

Passenger ?

Intrigued and curious. Is a "passenger" ever carried on the Harley ? What a sensation that would be.

Superb device

I looked at the build pics on his site and saw that, but unless it serves a different purpose, why lug around an extra 10lbs.?
Just wondering.

Aye...but it`s hardly the sort of machine where weight saving is of any priority or importance....and 10lb ain`t going to affect it either way. :D

If for no other reasons, using a stock rear wheel would make for uniformity of size and same tyre sizes....and maybe keep things in proportion.

Suppose it`s kind of handy for a spare pulley and swapover to even out tyre wear too.

And perhaps for a bit of money saving and ease of build from spindle/bearing etc point of view.

I think it looks well and was a good idea.
