Ducati Diavel

Flood 08-26-2010 01:47 AM

Cool. It's ugly AND has a stupid name!

Grainbelt 08-26-2010 02:49 AM

They cancel the ST series, and make this. :bluduh

The Suzuki B-King just lost its crown.

Looks like Ducati is trying to snare some of the H-D crowd with the look of those head pipes.

Don't think for a minute that what you are seeing is the finished product, folks.

Yeah, I would sure hope that it wouldn't go into production with exposed electrical components or whatever the blue and yellow areas are just in front of the tank.

I think in finished form, it will look good for a power-cruiser or whatever it is supposed to be. Could it look worse than an M109R or a 2nd-gen V-Max?

craigincali 08-26-2010 02:12 PM

They cant be serious about that bike. it doesnt even look finished.

Motodisiac 08-26-2010 03:33 PM

Did they hire Erik Buell?

vander 08-26-2010 03:47 PM

That may or may not be the final product, but the original idea is pretty much the same.

I think the looks of the final bike will not change much of this test bikes.

I've got mixed feelings about this one. I think it'd be a great bike for the riding I like doing around here but so far I'm not really getting the look. Of course, it may be out of proportion with some tiny Ducati test-rider on it, but I'd still take a new V-max any day of the week and twice on Sunday over this.

Motodisiac 08-26-2010 04:28 PM

Because the market demands such monstrosity?
