Hopefully 700-800cc's ?????? (for better two-up riding, and/or when fully loaded......sure gas milage will suffer some tho?)

It'll go bigger because everyone else is doing it.

Of course, people are going bigger too, so it balances out, except for the obvious MPG hit.

1250cc, shaft, ABS, EBS, side radiator, 8 gallon tank...

herrPezzel 06-01-2011 02:40 PM

Update of the current V-Strom. Just like SV650 to Gladius.

Voluhzia 06-01-2011 02:58 PM

I hope it's not gonna have 17" front...
I hope it's gonna have spoke wheels...

Very odd..

YAMAHA goes full bore adventure TOURER. ANd makes a vey capable bike for on off road. And it gets bagged.

The POMS to reviews on sealed roads between pubs and don't touch dirt at all...

and then this

..the DL is a genuinely good motorcycle, if a little boring

where the Gladius is just dreadful — but the bike in this drawing doesn’t appear to adopt traditional adventure proportions.
Well sorry but that is exactly what the Europeans seem to want. A sports tourer with adventure pretensions.

My prediction.

It'll probably be a good bike and after 8 years they will finally admit it. :deal

I hope they make it nice and FUGLY. No fun otherwise :lol3

Cheers
Graham

How do they think the Gladius is dreadful? The black one is great. Much improved on the SV650 naked it replaced. Suzuki marketing is to blame for the metrosexual advertising but it is still a great bike.

Does that mean we are going to get a Metro sexual Strom?

I just can't wait for the Fashion Adventure accessories :lol3

Gladys engine, all new styling.

Tbh, even though I'm not a DL fan, I'm kinda looking forward to it :D

The more the merrier and all that.

Can't Suzuki just source and rebadge the Versys?

And "metrosexual" is what, 10 years old now? Didn't "hipster" replace it?
