Our Bikes in front of a castel
Last week, my wife and me spend two days traveleing around the Mosel area. From castel to castel. It is not easy to make a picture with the bike AND the castel. In the most cases it's not allowed to drive in the castel courtyard or close to it.
This picture, Castel Eltz and the old combination, you are not able to make in the sommer season. The gate is close, the way down is crowded. . . http://skloecker.smugmug.com/photos/...-g8fFFpm-M.jpg The castel itself http://skloecker.smugmug.com/photos/...-b3jBsWb-M.jpg But very often, the place, where they build the castel is not practicable to make a good photo. Like here, you see only the entrance of the castel Pyrmont. . . http://skloecker.smugmug.com/photos/...-Mg4KLhq-M.jpg This will be better. The castel Thurant, including the hack AND the wife. . . http://skloecker.smugmug.com/photos/...-T3KK3MK-M.jpg This didn't count. It looks like a castel, but it is a palace. Palace Bürresheim. http://skloecker.smugmug.com/photos/...-mqFPxd7-M.jpg Now, we want to see YOUR bike in front of some famous castels (Castel Windsor or . . .) |
as close as my bike will ever come to a castle but it is "infront " of a castle lololol

Nice pictures. Unfortunately, the only castle I'm likely to be near is White Castle.

Castle of Svaneholm, southern part of Sweden.

The actor Adrien Brody owns a castle 20 minutes or so away from me, but you can't really see it from the road and somehow I don't think he'd be too keen on anyone riding up to his doorstep to snap a pic.:nono
So, off to find a "your bike in front of a single-wide trailer with a rusty Camaro on blocks in front" thread. |

Jep, in Scotland you can stop every 30km to make a photo of a castel and the bike.
We go in February to the Dragon. The week before we want to travel the eastcoast of England (South and Wales itself we do the last years). We will take a look around for more castel to see. . . |
