It's better to have loved and lost..

It's better to have loved and lost.. Than have to live with an ass the rest of your life (or not get to go on a massive adventure)

Well I have finally done it! Right this minute I am in Narrabri enjoying a beer after a nice day's ride.

For those that missed it, my husband walked out on me 4 months ago so I have been planning to make myself homeless and live off Charlie doing a lap of the paddock. I am lucky in that I have a bunch of sites that I used to work on which still bring in a small income so I will continue with them and some new projects. This means I get to work online wherever I have net. At first it means living on around $40 a day if I don't want to eat into my savings / emergency fund.

I will get some pics up soon of my overloaded tractor and what exactly is in his burden but for now I just wanted to tell you all that I have finally left and you can stop asking

At the moment I am on my way to sunny Melbourne for a long overdue visit with my daughter. Using her place as a base I will get some work done that I have been neglecting as well as see a lot of Vic, southern NSw and Tassie. There will be at least one trip to Sydney, Mudgee and Dubbo as well. We have Scrapheap in April so I am hanging around until then. After that I will start heading west. I want to see the Grampiens, Coober Pedy, the west SA coast first then head to WA.

One of the things I am looking forward to is saying Hi to as many advers as possible so give me a shout out if I am nearby any time.

I must say a big thanks to my best mate, Tina (sabretooth butterfly)! She has helped me so much with setting up Charlie, letting me stay and giving me the confidence to do this. What a legend!

Here's to freedom :1drink

The biggest step to any adventure is the first one out the front door. Well done and great travels. :thumb

Heya Nazza great to hear you're out on the road, and if you're in the Mudgee area drop by and check out the new digs! I have beer and wine and you just know that Julie will cook you up a good feed or two! PM me for our home number if / when you need it.

Definitely plan to come see you, Julie and the kids Bill! Would have liked to on the way down but I am running late and my daughter will get impatient :D Will come back up. And I reckon I owe you guys a dinner out and some beers anyway. Be great to catch up again. Say Hi to the family for me
