Is there an ignore setting? What does it do?

You won't see any of the users posts. Most of the time I find it's just inconvenient when trying to follow a thread that your ingoree is posting in so I just disregard his posts rather than add him to an ignore list. If enough folks do the same generally they just fade away.

there is a greasemonkey extension that will fully remove all posts from someone who is on your ignore list (rather than showing the 1 line summary) and it also removes quote /quote blocks that reference someone on your ignore list.

How do you turn on the 'Ignore Function' in regards to the postings of certain individuals? It used to jump right out at me, but I can't find it anymore. Good site - still enjoying it after many years.

Click on the users name and then go to user lists and select add to ignore list.

Way back when, it used to be that you could do it from your own control panel. An upgrade about 2ish years ago changed it.

The thread title will be there, but when you mouse over the title, you will not see the 1st few lines of the 1st post.

Use http://www.advrider.com/forums/profi...?do=ignorelist to directly enter a username and you don't leave an entry where it says 'The last 10 visitor(s) to this page were:' on the public profile of the user.
