Well guys just got home with my new ride its a CB600FA Hornet dont know if you get these in the USA.
It has 14 miles now i just picked it up and brought it home like an hour ago but cant go riding cos ive gotta sleep for night shift later. Its the ABS model. that is a sweet looking bike! makes me miss my 919, no doubt about it.
Ride naked.... |
Congrats on your new Hornet. They did sell the CB600F Hornet here in the US in the early-to-mid 2000's, don't know when we stopped getting them, but I'm pretty sure Honda doesn't sell them here anymore.
I watch craigslist daily for a good deal on a pre-owned one, it is definitely on my wish list. I may have to push it back further, as a friend just offered me his pristine '95 VFR750F at a can't-be-refused price. |
Very nice! Sad to say, we don't get them over here.
I'd order a fender extender soon, it'll keep a lot of grunge off your engine, headers. This is on a CBF: http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4134/4...0bddd8ff_z.jpg Powerbronze fender extender http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4140/4...c0b812bc_z.jpg |
Nice
Nice bike, rode one in Rome a few years ago and had a blast. The closest thing here is the 919. Where are you from in N. Ireland? I am originally from Newry.

thanks guys!
got about 90 miles on it now! went out for a ride last night to visit friends about 35 miles away and the rain was lashing down the whole way home so my 2 day old bike is now super dirty, itll never be 100% clean again! sourcing a hugger atm after seeing the amount of water that got sprayed around the shock etc. i like the ermax one atm. also going to look into a fender extender lol other things on the shopping list for the near future include a pipe (asap) undertray new indicators small plate renthals seat cowl new mirrors verious crash protectors brighter headlight bulbs smoked tail light tank pad fuel cap cover levers |
well just purchased my first items for the bike!
a colour coded ermax hugger carbon HRC tank pad and fuel cap cover ill post pics when i get them |
very nice! congratulations!
