Klim Off Road Pant Blowout: 33% off Dakar, Chinook, Mojave, and Baja Pants
Fellow ADV Riders,
KLIM OFF ROAD PANT SALE: 33% OFF Klim Dakar was $179 now $119.99 Klim Chinook was $169 now $109.99 Klim Mojave was $169 now $109.99 Klim Baja was $149 now $99.99 We have been selling, working with, and using Klim Dakar pants since the day they were released to the public back in July 2009. The BOMBERS have logged tons of time in the Dakar, Mojave, Baja, and Chinook offroad pants, in our opinion they are flat-out the best fitting, best made, most rugged off road pants available. They are one of our absolute favorite (and most trouble-free) products, and we have recommended them to squads of our customers with great results. Now, they are A LOT easier to get.....all four models of Klim offroad pants are 33% (yes...THIRTY THREE PERCENT) off. Admittedly, we have to occasionally go into selling more. But this statement is not at all hyperbolic or whiteshoes in any way: these are a really great product at a really rare, absolutely smoking deal. Why do we like them? Here are a few reasons: Fit: All four models fit GREAT. They have very excellent patterning with lots of shape and clever placement of stretch panels. They fit well in most any position on or off the bike, even with bulky knee armor. The mark of a good fitting pant (or jacket) is that they fit nearly any body type. This is critical especially above size 36, because that is where you get more variance in body type. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q..._2360133_n.jpg Fabric and Durability: The single best detail about them. Klim uses 840 denier filament yarn REAL CORDURA for the main shell. This is much heavier and more durable than any. other. offroad. pant. No other pant is anywhere close. The pants have a tangible sensation of durability, and this actually extrapolates into real-word use. We have crashed in them, camped in them, hiked in them, sat around on lava rock in them, and rolled around on the ground in them. Truthfully, they last. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...psa6f924cf.jpg Built to a Functional Goal, NOT a Price Point: In a past life, I designed and developed moto gear. We always built to a price point....always. This meant the final stage of development always involved shaving materials and cutting corners to cut the end price. Klim, OTOH, builds to a functional goal (which is why their stuff costs more), which you can clearly see borne out in the huge anti-burn panels on Pahrk's Dakars: http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps7b7b13d2.jpg Smart Details: Pockets are big and usable, waist closures WORK, vents are huge and well-placed, lower leg adjustments are easy to use and regulate. An example is the lower leg closure, it adjusts the entire length of the calf, not just at the cuff. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps43e3ec7b.jpg Of course these are simple pants compared to some of the other stuff out there. But they are executed well, and WORK. Sizing: Sizing is slightly generous. Usually people wear approximately their jeans size, as long as their jeans are cut realistically and not to preserve the male ego. For some help, here are some rough specs: http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...psdfac97b2.jpg We have a megaton of experience sizing these. If you need help choosing your size, you can contact us and we will assist. As I mentioned, Klim offroad pants are one of our favorite products. They are simple, great fitting, highly functional, and super durable. Now, they are a great deal too. More info: Dakar Pants (over the boot, controllable zippered vents) Chinook Pants (in the boot, controllable zippered vents) Mojave Pants (over the boot, full time venting...or mesh) Baja Pants (in the boot, full time venting...or mesh) Thanks, BP |
Love my Dakar pants!!
Even after a pavement slide for 30-ish feet, they only suffered slight (very slight!) scuff marks. It took a run-in with a '98 Dodge PU's aluminum running board to actually rip that tough Cordura. They got me through 3 seasons of abuse, .....before I introduced them to an abuse beyond their designed needs I'd buy another pair, but I liked them so much that now I'm looking up Klim's product line for the next level,... and will pay the price. But it's hard to pass up these GREAT deals on great low priced pants.... |
Hey Brian, when is the Dakar jacket coming out:evil:evil:wink::wink::1drink
|
Dakars are great pants..once you add some real hip armor.
|
I guess this solves my which pants to buy rather than splurging on the klim pants I really wanted question. I will be placing an order soon:D:freaky

Why the big sale .... are there new updated models coming out :ear
|
I bought a pair of Mojaves when they first came out,had to go to a local snowmobile shop to order them,Ive since used them for any trailriding where it isnt actually raining, several desert trips of 800 mile duration.
They are slightly thread bare on some edges,I wash them real thorough every time I go in poison oak which has worn them some. Im thinking of getting a new pair just for grins, best ventilation ever! |

Ordered!
Just ordered up..Dakar, Light Gray!!.. I was looking at the Traverse.. but couldn't throw down that much $$ at this point! A Dakar Jacket would be epic :) The Traverse jacket + their CE armor kit is about $200 out of my budget too :)
Thanks BP.. just can't pass up this sale! |
I have been very happy with my Dakar and Chinook pants, and want to add another pair.
Brian, are the light gray available in 34 long? Seems its only the dark gray that have long sizes. |

B-Bump This is too good a deal to stay back there...... |
Thanks Atomic!
My new Dakars arrived today! I'd been dragging my feet on replacing my tattered old pair, but your sale pushed me over the edge. Great service. Thanks!

Not only are the Klim Baja pants the only ones durable enough to last but better vented than all others I have tried and that includes: Moose, MSR, Oneal, TLD. Awesome deal, I just ordered a pair and after repeated dealings with Atomic I have found them one of the most useful vendors when providing objective advice on gear. Not into just pushing orders but actual critical advice on gear. Awesome job guys!!
My fist pair of Orange Klim Bajas still in use years after the purchase. http://withgusto.smugmug.com/Other/0...P1040135-M.jpg |
