Help Finding Modern Jean Looking Pants
My office is a business casual environment where everyone wears jeans and button up shirts. As someone that commutes to work on my bike, it would be really nice to come into the office and not have to strip down out of my X-Moto pants everyday. Does anyone make a pair of modern looking CE pants that resemble Levi's 501 or 514 jeans?

Icon Strongarm. I have 2 pairs, one lighter blue nd a dark denim. They also offer black. Ultra comfortable and a tiny safety improvement over reg jeans.

I'll drop them a call. Anyone in particular you recommend over there? |
Diamond Gussett and Sliders both make black ones that look pretty good yet offer some protection. May be a little hot for all day use if you are not in AC however.

I have a pair of draggin jeans that I wear with a pair of Thor knee guards underneath. They're not the most flattering pants I've ever worn to work, but they look less out of place than my airglides.

The BMW City 2 pants are pretty good looking IMO. Very spendy at $260 though...tried a pair on and they fit well. Next months commission might contribute to a pair...

I have both the BMW city pants and the motoport jean and both look really good on me. But, you will most likely notice the armor more with the motoport, depending on how it fits you. If I was looking to wear the pants all day, I would probably wear the motoport with strap on knee armor only that I could take off easily in the bathroom, or strap it on over the pants. I would also make sure that I wore it with a long jacket, for the less than ideal double textile coverage of the hip area. I just wouldn't be super comfortable walking around in the armor part of the pants all day.

Thanks guys.
I decided to purchase a pair of Dainese D6 Kelvar jeans with matching Knee/shin pads off revzilla.com. |
If I'm not too late, I've had apair of these:
http://www.rhok.com.au/jeans.htm and they were great. They'll even custom size them. They also come with the armour, and they'll even make them to custom size for an extra $25! Armour is taken out from the outside of the jeans, so you can do it when you get to work without having to take your pants off, which is a great feature. Black ones look great, but I haven't bought a pair of the blue ones yet. Might soon, but it's a bit of an ugly colour. |
