brake rebuild
im rebuilding the brakes on my old honda cd250, the inside of the master cylinder is really dirty, the level window you cant see through.
what should i clean it with, im bout to replace all the seals in it, so i guess the dont matter about harsh chemicals?. |
Methyl Hydrate. That's in a lot of shop manuals on "cleaning brake parts before rebuilts".
|
ok whats that in, or is it some kinda product i buy from a science lab?
|
Methyl Hydrate AKA Methanol.AKA Hydroxymethane. Methyl alcohol. Methyl hydroxide. Methylic alcohol. Methylol. Wood alcohol. Any good hardware store will have that around trhe painting chemicals/thinners etc....section. Wear gloves.
