Harley Davidson doubles contingency purse for 2013 AMA Pro Flat Track racing.

For 2013, Harley-Davidson Motor Company will provide a $143,000 contingency fund for Twins riders competing on Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the series’ thirteen scheduled Twins events. The Twins contingency program will pay out up to $11,000 in contingency per event to the First through Eighth place finishing positions to riders on Harley-Davidson motorcycles per the following schedule:

Second place: $2,000

Until the death of Pete Giammalvo just about a year ago. The track was closed last year, not sure if it will ever re open. Does anyone know of more small tracks like this in New England?

opps, sorry Dogboy, just realized this was a ama flat track thread. Thought it was just a general FT thread. No AMA races up near New England, we use to have one in NY at Vernon Downs

wonder how many kawasakis are gonna be running! has anyone heard anything more about the zanotti/roberts/willing kawasaki for Jake Johnson?

Should be another great year for GNC racing.We'll get to all four California races.Stocton,Sac,Santa Rosa,and the final in Pomona.We're lucky to live in Santa Rosa.Last year's race was a 3-day blast.,already got our 32 tickets!:clap

I hope the Az. dates come back to Prescott Downs (assuming they are under new ownership). That place was a great venue and the crowds were huge.
