Over your shoulder shots..... what ya got?
We have all done it, or attempted it. You are riding along and one of your chums is behind you. You pop away like a mad man over your shoulder with your point and shoot. Sometimes it works, most of the time, not so well.
How are you guys at these? :deal Lets see!
This was coming back from a ride to southern, Minnesota in 2010, we were going through a historic block of Red Wing, Minn., a nice town along the river. Stopped safely at a traffic light of course. Original image from a cheap Canon point and shoot. My riding buddy "Herm" rolling up behind me.
my brother on his 620 ducati came up from westminster MD. for thunder in the highlands "cabot trail" last summer...great trip.
mot over the shoulder...but the rest are!

mr nikon caught me sneaking up behind him as we were making our way through vt to his place in nh.
Everybody posts the good ones...but this is what we usually see before we delete half the memory card... :lol3
Yay! ...No wait. Arg!
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
I think we have covered some of the same roadways brother. Those look familiar.
I found another.... I think the lanyard from my cheap camera blowing in the wind and got imaged. :evil
I was on a KLR, it could have been my Doo Hickey or some extra parts flying off I suppose.
My wife is usually over my shoulder ...
I ride with my wife most of the time, and so pretty much all of my over the shoulder shots are of her on her 09 Black VStrom 1000 ...
Somewhere north of Hinton on Highway 40 in Alberta, you can just make out the shoulder of my 'Stich in the bottom right corner of the pic - Aug 17, 2012
On Highway 40 again, heading south out of Grande Prairie, AB - Aug 20, 2012
Heading east out of Radium Hot Springs, BC - Aug 27, 2012
Here's an older one from Sep 2011 in Kananaskis Prov Park north of the Highwood Pass with a friend of mine on his GSX500 and my wife on her VStrom behind him.
I use a Sony DSC110 handheld on a lanyard clipped to my tankbag. That way if I have to drop it, it won't go far!
This was an unintentional pic.
The intentional ones. :D
That first one ya got there Wayne is quite artsy, I like it.
You could get thousands for that in a gallery. :evil
The rest good as well, looks like some fun times. The group ride shots are great.
Ok, you shamed me into it. Here I am...but in a soft 70's style porn focus. :lol3
