I had an S converted SM for many years and know exactly what you mean about the handling. I don't own a Versys but I do have a Ninja 650R and have test ridden a Versys. IMO no big bike can come close...

Why should you be? Plenty of experienced riders ride Ninja 250s and Honda 500s to total satisfaction. I've been riding for almost 10 years, I guess I should be totally unsatisfied with my TW200.
