I bought a used 03 xr400... the title looked like...

I bought a used 03 xr400... the title looked like a regular street title except it was marked for off road in the body type box

I got it legalized through the special inspection

I had similar problems with mine . Cleaned, rebuilt, replaced the carb petcock etc. the problem always came back. It ended up not being a fuel problem but the coil pickup going bad.
