Putting sintered brake pads on the front of my 89 xt?

Hello everone its time for a new set of pads on my xt and was wondering if anyone is running sintered pads? Or will that wear my rotor out early? Because parts-n-more has the sintered pads for my 89...

Wow, never thought of a CX as an adventure bike. I see them quite often on CL for decent prices, have been thinking about getting one. They look pretty stout, engine case looks nice and strong.

mine sometimes does not want to start when hot if i try to start it too soon like going into the store or something. just puts a few times and dies out, when it does that i just give it some gas...
