Still ran over 1000 miles home after a thrown clutch bolt and a sh!tpile of aluminum and hardened steel spring went through the engine. Tough motor to break.

I've been running just the stock O-rings (no gasket) for about 5000 miles now and no leaks from that area. I have had several fuel line leaks though as the petcock has it rubbing on the skid plate....

For me it was cheaper to buy a 990 and lengthen the legs to S spec than buy an S.

Too much power...
I've used them on thumpers (DRZ, XRL) and they've worked good. Riden aggressively on my ol' DRZ-434 I was able to crack/tear knobs, so I'd think the 990 would shred the tire in short order.

I'm another fan of the Trackmaster II. Works great in the soft stuff and wears ok on the hard stuff. I've used them on my DRZ and EXC both with excellent results.
Just make sure to take it easy...
