On my Acerbis tank I seem to hit reserve right at 3.5 gallons and 150ish miles, I don't know how far from reserve to empty though. I try not to find out :)

Are ignition coil failures common in these bikes? I hadn't started mine in about a week, and it wouldn't fire, no spark. I have had a problem like this one before so I smacked the coil with my socket...

It's not audio syncing, if that what you are thinking, it is a problem with the GPS info syncing with the video. Not sure if video quality would make a difference there.
