No clearance issues on my bikes, a KLR and a DR(both with pannier racks).

The washers are just under 1/8" thick for reference to see if it will or won't work on other bikes.

I keep a Brunton charger in the tank bag in case I'm in the boonies and have to leave the bike. In an emergency the portable extra juice might come in handy.

Thanks VFR, I'm 5'11", 195 lbs so average size I guess. I have the short BA(non insulated) now and it's ok except for colder nights. I usually sleep in a hammock but occasionally I'm on the ground....
