I have a complete set of the DOH maps of each county, but they are about 20 years old. I can study them and the Gazetteer for hours. That's how I plan new rides.

About 150 miles a day is my limit for this kind of riding, but that is a lot of hours in the saddle at an average speed of about 25mph.

Nice looking bike JT. I've always liked trail bikes around the 300cc size. I put thousands of miles on a 1996 XR-280 that was worlds better than the stock displacement.

It was very brittle and shattered on the first big rock hit. I wouldn't recommend it for any rocky off road riding.

I remember reading somewhere that leaving the choke on that long will wash the oil off the cylinder walls eventually resulting in worn rings. That long dose of raw gas is not good for lubrication....
