Fuel economy

Hi Ray ... for fuel economy I reduced the richness on the O2 optimizers but it was too much and the bike ran awfully bad ... had to return to previous levels and also placed the CO settings in ´0´...

Steeering dampener

Not really if you ride on sand or mud ... it relieves the strength you have to apply on the handlebars when you get on those 'ugly' places ... desert, swamps, etc. ... just ask Jaume if he considers...

Hi Brent ... I always use the regular Yamalube Lubricant FRICTION MODIFIED SHAFT DRIVE GEAR OIL, SAE 80W-90, API SERVICE GL-4, GL-5 and change it every time I change engine oil.

Hi Boulder ... I modified a Hepco Becker / Krauser skidplate with a front extension which uses the bolts that grab the front of the engine instead of the original which is bolted to the engine ......

OEM crashbars

Don`t get rid of all the OEM crashbars ... just the top (useless) ... the low part is great for the engine waterpump protection ... supplement that with the Altrider crashbars and you have the best...

The main trouble in that skidplate is that you have to remove the 2 front bolts on the upper front which are also the front engine support ... this is not a safe method and could possibly damage the...

Hi Tim ... the Super has 2 holes (8mm) on its frame which I threaded them to 10x1.5 mm ... the frame is thick enough (3mm) so will hold well the steel plate which is the base of the post...
