Try this for cold weather starting help

I put a Euro headlight switch on my '05 Adventure so I could have the headlight shut off while starting. Added a little more latitude for cold weather cranking...
Adventurers Workshop sells them.

I hucky-pucked mine with JB Weld

I wasn't the o-ring, the piston cracked at the junction between the piston and the ball holder. Just file off the peens that hold the ball in, dump the ball out, and pour in a little JB. Be careful...

Tanks are Austrailian. But it is TT Germany designing the bars - I got a lot of faith in those Teutonic engineers - lived in CH for a while - If those boys decided there needed to be a change, IMHO...

Have a '05 950 that needed re-building - looked into it - 990 has differnt bore AND stroke. Serious coin to go that route. Get some 39 FCR's - that's what I did... Still not cheap, but boy howdy!!!...
