yuc, yuc, yuc, true on that however this crossing is in the Rocky Mountains. Its the junction between highway 11 and 95 (Banff/Jasper highway) lots of mountains, no gophers.

Can't comment on the TEX but my new 800xc has been great so far. Very "Japanese" in it's build quality. I think the whole Triumph line is similar.

Seems like Sask. crossing is the place to be for ADV member spotting. Saw a member from Texas on a 1200 GS and an Alberta guy on a KTM 950/990(?). Anyone else this past weekend?

Ride sag should be approx 1/3 of total wheel travel. Needs to have some unlaiden sag as well or the rear spring is too stiff.
