It's been ten years since I rode that area (atv) but depending on how much of a challenge you like most of the trails I rode where more suited for atv's, lots of rocks,mud bogs, and water crossings.

Any 25" x 78" pad will work. I use a Bestrest camprest 25" x 78" x 1.5". You just don't want to use a smaller pad because the BA uses the pad as the bottom insulation.
