The BP worked well on my R1200GS but then again that bike was 110% surge free.. On a single spark 1150 it didn't totally fix the proble.

Mine is a 2001 model single spark, the TB's were tuned at idle and 3500 RPM, it is just past the 4k RPMs that the vibrations really increase...

+1 on all of the above, I went from a 1200 to a single spark 1150 and it drove me insane, then I out some good plugs, adjusted the valves and sync'd the TB and things got better, the next improvement...

I guess you have a 1150, the LED is welded on the RID board a few have done it but it is tricky job and you need to be very careful removing the old lights and welding the new ones.
