The outer plate...pressure plate is what you will see move....the others are "sticking" together with the oil...simple suction...sort of. But with pressure plate released, they wil be able to slide...

Even when clutch is pulled in, the discs/plates still slide along each other. If wheel is raised, and therefore no resistance, the wheel will spin. You could have easily stopped...
