I'm interested to know how it sucks the juice in the 100 HP mode. Saw one the other day, and it appeals. I think I could be persuaded to swap a couple GS Beemers for it..

I have both - but I will be selling the GS

All these posts have summed it up already..... The buell is not without its faults - but I have spent time making mine a non-vibrating buell under 3k revs and now ride it nearly full time around...

I use mine for commuting and the odd bit of dirt - my only complaints are with the fussy suspension, and the drive belt breaking and the clutch cable breaking...however, you can't beat the great...

pity about the seat height...

The seat looks like it can give up some height - hopefully it will be like the Buell, with an optional low seat in the fullness of time...but if I like the GP enough on first ride I'll make it work....

yes, big tanks seems a better investment than plastic covers that do nothing, but i really didn't want to make the bike heavier - i'd rather go in the HP2 direction...

Mate....you can pick up a cagiva elefant or even a navigator pretty cheap here - the Uly is not value for the money (and a bit of a shitbox)...better off with a 1150 gs or tiger.
