Where are folks buying CDI replacements for 1989 Transalps these days? Anyone have any recommendations on ones that are OEM quality?

At least the CDI went out right when the days started getting...

Early chokes used the butterfly valve to limit air flow -- there by creating a lower air-to-fuel ratio to enrich the fuel mixture... i.e., make it less lean. The valves would "choke" off the air.

It's a common thing for dirty/gummed up carburetors to only allow an engine to run with the choke on, but my engine runs fine when the choke is off and dies out if I turn the choke on. Any carb gurus...

Standard. You don't need the jumbo unless you're using solid pins. Almost all chains use hollow pins for the master link that is to be riveted. It's about $95 from MP. I couldn't find it any place...
