front to back and back to front

Just swapped the pump to the rear cylinder and the valve to the front cylinder. No crankcase breather connection.

Low mount with vacuum fuel valve

Vacuum pump in the stock location (950Adv). Had problems with hydro-locking, but not with starting. Installed a Pingel (http://www.pingelonline.com/powerflo.htm) vacuum fuel valve to solve that...

Behind the dash

The plug sits behind the dash on the left (when seated on the bike), next to the diodes. Surprised I didn't see it when I checked the diodes previously.

After a dry spell (starter working perfectly), I experienced another failure. This time in the boonies on a rough jeep trail. Luckily I was at the top of a hill so I could bump it. Made the trip home...

For anyone with the old style SWMotech crash bars, FYI: Charlie said his plate is compatible with the bars (after a mod he does in his shop) and the adapter from Black Dog.

AdvGA, thanks for the reply. I neglected to mention that the switch is longer with the living; I jumpered it last summer after a rock kicked-up and tore it off. I'll double-check the solder...

950 torque limiter failure mid-tour

The torque limiter on my 06 Adv died this morning during a tour to MT. Keeps KLACKing and won't turn the engine over. Stuck in Steamboat,CO. Anyone nearby with a kit?

Starter torque limiter on my 06 KTM 950 Adv gave out this morning, thanks to Hilljack and friends who stopped to help, we were able to get the bike tow-started and we made it to Steamboat, CO.
