High Mileage Bikes

I hear of people getting 50,000 or so miles on their DR650s, and still running ok. The same with the DRZ400. I have also heard of some KLRs going high mileages. The thing that concerns me about the...

Honda Strategy

Honda knows what it is doing. They know that they can make more profit on a high end Lexus-type bike than a simple inexpensive machine. It is all about marketing and profits. I will not be buying any...

I own both

The short answer is that you need one or more of each. Some days youn will like the big torque of the 650 best, and other days you will like the light weight of the 350 best. So take my advice and...

DR650 Reliability

I have a 2003 DR650 (25,000 miles) and a 2009 DR650. It was during the 2003 production year that the base gasket change was made. My 2003 650 was made early in that year and still had the old fiber...

Got Both DR and DRZ

I have two DR650s and a DRZ400s. I prefer the DR650 overall. It runs pretty well at 70 to 75 mph on the highway. It is also relaxing to ride since it makes its power at lower rpms. Still, I love my...

Sometimes there are some bits of plastic left over from manufacturing still inside these tanks. Could there be enough to plug up the gas line partially?
